As a product owner on our team for Compensation Management, you will support the overall product strategy and work with your partners in UX, architecture, and development to create industry-leading capabilities in this challenging space. Â

Product managers also drive the product design process. Â They innovate to improve the customer experience by combining functional and operational knowledge in compensation (Grades, Salary, Merit, Bonus, and Stock) to design software that requires minimal training and is very user friendly without sacrificing functionality and compliance.

As a Product Manager at Lifion, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, doing functional design, and presenting compensation features to customers, partners, and prospects.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage the execution of a critical set of capabilities in the Compensation Management management space from planning through production, enablement, and customer adoption
- Develop epics, user stories, and requirements in an agile team
- Act as the product and user champion when coordinating development with business stakeholders and align all development activity with business goals and priorities
- Manage the product backlog by working day-to-day with your scrum team to clarify requirements, recommend alternative approaches, and drive the team at a high velocity to create products of high quality

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a product management or product owner role, preferably in the enterprise and B-toB space.
- Deep knowledge of application design principles, including object modeling, extensibility, etc., and experience applying them to build complex software applications.
- Experience working as product manager on a large-scale web application or enterprise software product with front and back-end processes
- A track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional groups including corporate management, engineering, client services, enterprise customers, and direct sales teams
- Able to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally
- Experience in managing HCM products is preferred, but not required
