Lead Software Developer
We are looking for a Lead Software Developer for technically leading a product development and the team who works on it. The candidate should be highly skilled in multiple technical areas including web application development, back-end services development, integration technologies and platforms. On top of being a great Developer we expect you to:
Responsibilities
- Be a strong technical reference for your team;
- Have already led a team of 3+ software developers/ engineers;
- Have already worked on the development of high scalable software;
- You should be enthusiastic on code and peer reviews making sure the product follow the best practices;
- As a tech leader you should be energetic and proactive on day to day situations;
- Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability
- Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services
- Support production software operations, test and debug programs
- Report progress and status of assigned tasks to leadership
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience developing Web applications and backend services
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVC patterns
- Good understanding of Agile development and continuous integration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience with:
- Java 7+ (Strong knowledge of design patterns, transactions OOP concepts and Unit Testing)
- Angular
- React
- Javascript
- HTML5 and CSS3
- Oracle (should have knowledge on store procedures development)
- Microservices
- RESTFul API design and implementation
- Knowledge of build tools and dependency management, such as Maven
- UNIX/Linux environments
- Tomcat
- Spring
- Apache Kafka
