DESCRIPTION:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and to improve the quality of ADP products. You will be an integral member of an Agile development team focused on delivering solutions to our business partners. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the development and test infrastructure used by our teams. You will develop code that accelerates the product development process while producing high quality software. You will automate the testing of software systems by designing and developing code. You will have a background in software development, interest in creating automated solutions, strong technical ability, and relish achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain Software Test Automation Frameworks including improving and simplifying quality assurance processes.
- Design and automate test cases to validate large-scale, complex software systems.
- Develop internal supporting test tools to aid development and testing.
- Conduct regular regression tests
- Design test specs and create test strategy for new and existing features
- Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications
- Participate in the design discussions with developers to ensure features are designed and implemented meeting testability requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Automation Testing using several of the following technologies: Selenium WebDriver/RC/IDE/GRID, Junit, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, QTP, Cucumber, Jbehave, SOAP UI, Gatling, and HP Quality Center.
- Experience with Continuous Integration, Delivery, Deployment, and Testing processes using tools like GitHub, GitLab, and BitBucket
- Experience with comprehensive understanding of all phases of Test Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, test planning, and scheduling, testing, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Expertise in Automation Testing, Manual Testing, GUI Software Testing, Performance testing, Black-box Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Experience in Web Services testing using SOAP UI, XML, & WSDL
- Experience in creating Data Driven and Keyword Driven frameworks to create/ maintain test suites.
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Experience working in an Agile test environment

- 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications
- Working experience with CICD/DevOps infrastructure and implementing CICD from a quality perspective.
- Experience in virtualization, cloud, and container-based environments like VMware, AWS, Azure, and Docker
- Experience with BPM, RPA, and other process automation tools
