The PMO Project Manager is an individual contributor role directly reporting to the Philippines Senior Manager of the Shared Services team. The role will manage the execution and delivery of the projects in the Global Business Solutions (GBS) locations including but not limited to transition of new or existing work, location projects and GBS initiatives. The role will follow the standard Project Management methodology and identified tools to support the effective execution and completion of Projects.

  • Responsibilities include participating in the solution hand-off and participation in due diligence to assess the requirement of the stakeholder/s with the Solution Lead
  • The role is expected to bring wealth of experience in project management with exceptional communication skills, proactive leadership and critical business thinking. 
  • Responsible for end-to-end project or program management and demonstrates ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
  • Interfaces with Sr. Leaders of the GBS Locations to establish strategic plans and objectives for Projects or Programs
  • Strong experience in creating and owning project plans, project documents and status reports
  • Develops and implements program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
  • Leads a matrix team during the duration of the project
  • Monitors time, scales resources and provides recommended action where there is deviation from the plan 
  • Manage Project Sponsor and Project Leaders on expectations throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Obtain buy-in from stakeholders and critical issues to ensure final project performance meets or exceed success measures
  • Responsible for leading project teams and managing activities in a project life-cycle (Initiation, Planning, Executing/Controlling and Closing) associated with high visibility project that are long-term across one or more locations, lines of business and carry substantial impact to the relevant businesses
  • Chair and facilitate project status to ensure all issues are addressed during meetings and uses it as a platform to discuss project progress, engages with the project sponsor on decision-making and project team to address issue resolution
  • Acts as a point of contact of projects within the managed portfolio to ensure appropriate execution of the project
  • Secures appropriate level of support from Strategic Service Partner and Implementation Lead thoughout the project.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Work experience in Outsourcing Industry
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing projects including 3 years experience as a Project Manager leading large, complex projects in an environment with multi-function teams
  • Strong experience in implementing medium to large and complex global projects, including the management and oversight of a matrix project team 
  • Strong experience with Executive and Senior Leaders Leadership communication and presentation delivery
  • Capable of effectively engaging and leading a virtual project team and facilitating meetings
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills 
  • Strong Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in MS Project or Project Schedule Tools
  • Knowledge of PC applications including, but not limited, to Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Project Management Professional certification is preferred
  • Flexibility to work shifting schedule
  • Reports to Glorietta Location.
