What you’ll do:

  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve ADP/client application items in the area of system set up, product functionality, product enhancements and general client inquiries
  • Analyze complex client requirements for payroll, benefits, time and human resource policy and procedures
  • Use strong interpersonal skills and product knowledge to communicate with customers and representatives to resolve issues

What you need to do the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR
  • Equivalent Military experience OR
  • Experience working in client service / customer service environment or systems integration environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Business/financial acumen: Ability to apply critical thinking and a data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making and problem-solving
  • Be a self-starter who can prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
  • Experience in HR, Payroll, Benefits and/or Time a plus

The primary focus of the HCM Service Consultant is to deliver stellar service to their assigned book of clients through the total ownership and timely resolution of client inquiries, the day-to-day interaction with clients, the maintenance of client specific documentation, the implementation of small scale client projects, the participation in the product release management activities, the proactive communication of product release information that benefits or impacts the client, and the advocacy of client issues and suggestions as input to the product roadmaps. These associates develop product and business domain expertise in areas such as Payroll, Talent Aquisition, Human Resources, Time, Benefits as well as a functional understanding of any interfaced ADP products like Virtual Edge, Enterprise eTime, ADP Talent Management, etc.

Provides technical applications support to National Account Clients, researching and solving complex questions on function and usage of product. Serves as primary support liaison between company and client. Manages large array of service/product offerings in support of One Stop Shop philosophy. Proactively managing relationships with client account executive. Using analytical and project skills, provides a wide-variety of billable, specialized services to client base. Conveys client feedback to internal functional leaders to improve the client experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • A strong focus on client satisfaction in a relevant industry, preferrably with employee benefits, or as an HR/HRIS practitioner with systems experience
  • Strong client relationship building skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills, including sophisticated Human Capital Management areas (HR, Payroll, Tax, etc.) and software related information in both a classroom and in a hands-on environment
  • Ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
  • Initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes for both the client and ADP
  • Demonstrated organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
  • A history of successful performance in one of the following operational, implementation or client service positions: Coordinator/ Specialist/ Tax Service Coordinator/Account Executive
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently while making sound decisions
  • Good knowledge of industry tools
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
