ADP is hiring a Solutions Consultant II. In this position you will increases sales performance by working directly with MADMs to identify, develop and present business solutions with the latest messaging techniques to Major Account buyers. Ensures client expectations are in line with ADP’s deliverable solutions. Provides support to the MAS sales organization through expertise of ADP Workforce Management services and solutions. Travel requirements are based on role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partners with assigned regional/area sales force to meet assigned quota.
  • Develops relationships with prospects by building rapport with the users, decision makers and key stakeholders.
  • Performs needs analysis with prospective client practitioners and key management in all areas Workforce Management including payroll, time and labor management, human resources, benefits administration, information technology and related financial systems.
  • Develops ADP strategic solution through: Reviewing needs analysis details to determine solution fit and/or necessary customizations.
  • Conducting research internally and/or externally.
  • Assist in coordinating the required internal – external ADP resources as needed.
  • Assists in creating ADP’s Power Positions and align them with the business needs of the prospect.
  • Tailors the advantage of the ADP solution to the specific needs of the prospective client user community to obtain their recommendation for ADP.
  • Conducts product demonstration with messaging techniques to establish the buyer connection to ADP and how we can meet their requirements.
  • Participates in responding to prospects Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Information (RFI).
  • Prepares the solution design document/trip notes for Implementation and assists MADM on ROI for the Sales Proposal.
  • Participates in transition to Implementation to ensure the successful start of new business.
  • Assist ADP Product Marketing and Key Product Productivity in communicating information to sales teams regarding new releases and product enhancements.
  • Works with Product Demo Project Manager on development and enhancements to HTML and Live demo environment for the field.
  • Represents ADP at local and national trade shows and product seminars as needed. Supports Virtual Sales model by leveraging technology and tools where possible.
  • Uses SFDC to track relevant SC/Sales metrics for all sales calls supported.
  • Further develops ADP product knowledge and consulting skills.
  • Personalizes and delivers prepared presentations and responds to standard questions.
  • Increases sales performance by identifying, developing and presenting business solutions through sales presentations and securing the recommendation of the user community.
  • Acts as resource/mentor to sales consultants.
  • Can support simple Multi-Product demos.
  • Can assist in HRBAS and Enterprise sales.
  • Can respond to SC questions within an RFP.
  • Must maintain a non-core champion role for minimum 2 years.
  • Has competitive knowledge May be a resource for Sales Consultant I.
  • Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on solution development and presentation.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Is an active member of the sales team and uses previous experience to enhance the sales process.
  • Works on prospects and projects of moderate to high complexity and criticality to ADP.
  • Works with general direction from more experienced systems consultant, SC or SC Manager throughout sale.
  • Can serve as an important team member on group-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Begins to actively participate in regional -/or area sales meetings Maintains a consistent positive attitude Focused on region sales goals and what is necessary to achieve/exceed them.
  • Aware of area and division sales goals.
  • Communicates actively and escalates issues to the SC Manager through regular communication.
  • Actively involved with the sales team throughout the qualification/sales process, offering input and ideas as appropriate.
  • Participation in industry conferences.
  • May participate in division initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Education: BS degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related professional experience (i.e. Human Resources, Payroll and/or Benefits practitioner, system implementation, sales representative, IT representative, business consultant, application support/client service representative), must include a minimum of 2 years experience as a MAS SC.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • HRSP Certification attained plus one external certifications such as PHR/SPHR, CPP, CEBS, PMP, MCP, MCSA, or CBP.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in all ADP Workforce Management Solutions including AutoPay/Payroll platforms and in-depth understanding of the TLM suite (EZLM, eTime, Enterprise).
  • Ability to work on multi-product deals.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR/B – HRBAS, Flexible Spending Account administration and COBRA.
  • Good working knowledge of ancillary benefits products.
  • Ability to deliver expert level presentations in a virtual environment.
  • Highly effective in the use of SDFC to track all sales opportunities they are engaged in.
  • Ability to team effectively on multi-product opportunities with Specialist SC (SC III) where appropriate.
  • HRSP Certification attained plus 1 external certification such as PHR/SPHR, CPP, CEBS, PMP, MCP, MCSA, or CBP. Excellent business acumen, communication, listening, probing, analysis and presentation skills.
