Summary:

 

Reporting to the VP of Competitive Intelligence, the role is responsible for providing strong competitive and market expertise to the team in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space for Compliance Solutions. The Compliance Solutions Business Unit includes solutions for Wage Payments, Employee Tax, Wage Garnishments, Tax Credit, Employee Verification, Unemployment Claims, and Health Compliance.

  • Develop advanced understanding of competitive technologies and trends in the HCM space, to become the local Subject Matter Expert in the Compliance Solutions Market.
  • Execute and document analysis to inform strategic and sales enablement decision-making across the evolving competitive landscape at a national, market, and local level.
  • Support short and long-term strategic decision-making by developing insights on the products of best-in-class competitors, emerging niche players, strategic threats and future opportunities
  • Document and maintain long shelf-life competitive intelligence marketing assets for all key stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Executive team).
  • Execute the maintenance of baseline competitive intelligence collateral in alignment with the team standards (i.e. Competitor Profiles, Quick Reference Cards, Fact-Sheets, Newsletters, etc).

Drive the discussion of competitive market positioning by providing informed evaluations of key strategic dimensions including product, pricing, network, service, marketing and technology

Education/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferably.
  • Minimum of 4 years of competitive intelligence and/or consulting experience.
  • Industry understanding of the HCM Compliance Solutions business.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills; especially for a globally distributed team.
  • Well-organized, data driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
  • Executive presence to gain the confidence of business leaders.
  • Ability to identify strategic needs with little direction.
  • Excellence in documentation and developing marketing assets and competitive intelligence tools.
