Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India. As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring:
Software Test Analyst II
As automation quality assurance analyst, you will define, design, implement and execute a comprehensive automation testing strategy in a fast-paced agile environment. You will work in a collaborative environment with product owner and developers. You will demonstrate hands-on expertise in designing, implementing and executing automation scripts. You will create and maintain test plans, test data, and test environments. You will capture and report test results and work with the development team to fix bugs and address issues identified to ensure highest possible software quality.
Responsibilities
- Test all aspects of the product and ensure highest quality
- Work with the product owner and developers to collect requirements and understanding needed for testing
- Work with project manager to estimate and track test activities
- Create comprehensive test plan and test cases/scenarios
- Setup and maintain test environments and data
- Automate reusable test plans and manage the repository of test suites/data for new functionality and regression testing
- Manage and track defect creation and resolution
Qualifications
- Experience in a quality assurance and testing role
- Hands-on experience with automation tools, technologies, coding and scripting
- Good knowledge of development and testing methodologies
- Experience with test automation tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Cucumber, SOAPUI, RestAssured
- Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Rally and other)
- Good understanding of web technologies, web APIs and platform architectures
- Good understanding of REST web services, HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- Experience with continues integration and testing; experience building automation pipelines using Jenkins
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
