Position Purpose:Â
- Reporting to the Regional Manager- EMEA, Legislative Compliance, the Legislative Manager is responsible for researching HCM (Human Capital Management, focusing on Payroll, HR, Talent & Time) legislative requirements and country-specific practices to enable the product teams and other stakeholders to creates products and services that enable our global clients to comply with local legislative requirements and workforce management practices. Responsibilities include gathering, analysing and documenting country specific requirements and collaborating closely with the stakeholders in product management, R&D, implementation, support and operations to ensure ADP products and services meet or exceed the requirements in the global market.
- This role is expected to operate independently in different countries to provide legislative information and communications in a timely manner to ADP stakeholders. Legislative and local compliance information impacting ADP products and services will be curated and complied in a standardized format and updated to a centralize system.
- A successful candidate will possess strong research and writing skills. Experience in gathering and analysing legislative and business requirements by leveraging governmental/legislative resources and 3rd party consultancies is a must. She/he will also be an effective communicator in a global environment. The role is also expected to manage the relationship with local 3rd party consultancies and government agencies and departments. Understanding of payroll, HR, Time and Labor management solution and talent management requirements in the local countries is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:Â
- Experience in performing legislative research per the assigned country/countries. Experience in working with government agencies/departments/vendors/third party consultancies/internal sources to gather legislative and local workforce management practice information. Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and methodical in researching requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently without significant supervision in a global and virtual environment
- Appreciation of cultural nuances and differences and their impact on effective communication
- Ability to learn “on the job” and make sound decisions under sometimes ambiguous circumstances

- Ability to work under stress in a dynamic environment
- Ability to occasionally work flexible hours to accommodate various time zones (depending largely on country assignments)Â
