Core Responsibilities:

• 5 years of experience as Oracle DBA and Oracle 11i/R12.1/R12.2 Applications DBA
• 2+ years of experience as Unix System Administrator
• Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting (Korn/B/C)
• Solid experience with Install/configuration/Maintenance of multi-terabyte Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c, Grid/Cloud OEM 10g/11g /12c Databases
• Solid experience with Oracle EBS R12.1 and R12.2.x (Single/Multi-node) on Linux/Unix/AIX/Solaris
• Solid skills in installing, upgrading, cloning, designing, maintenance, monitoring, and tuning databases in 3-tier architecture.
• Extensive experience in applying Oracle patches using ADPATCH and ADOP utilities. Analyze patches before applying to determine the impact of the patch to production and multiple development environments.
• Solid experience with cloning Oracle instances from production to development using Rapid clone utility. Should be well versed with cloning methodologies
• Experience with database compression utilities and database re-org
• Experience with performance tuning of Oracle database-SQL tuning, instance tuning, TRACE, TKPROF, EXPLAIN PLAN, STASPACK, AWR, ASH, ADDM and security
• Experience with SOA and SAO Gateway and integration with EBS
• Experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and its administration
• Experience with opening and tracking of Oracle SRs
• Production monitoring on a 24X7 environment
• Experience in Unix System Administration for dev / prod environments for day to day Sys Admin tasks.
• Participate in on-call (off hours) schedule to provide 24×7 support to the user community

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience essential.
