Global Cash Card (An ADP Company) is looking for a full stack Sr. Applicaton Developer to join an exciting team within an established company experiencing very strong growth in Irvine, CA. This is a mid to senior level Java position requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a key member of the Information Technology group, you will assume a pivotal role in the creation and management applications used to power the company’s core services. You will be expected to come up to speed quickly to meet technical goals within a hard-working and collaborative team. We have high expectations and are looking for a seasoned professional with substantial, demonstrable experience in the areas described below:

Sr. Applications Developer (Payments) – JAVA – Orange County

You will help build the next-generation paycard product. As a senior developer, you will specialize in product development in Java and similar technologies. The payments 2.0 strategy also involves an entire redesign of the user experience with extensive opportunity for forward development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Design and develop highly scalable APIs and components in the java ecosystem, explore integrating with AngularJS UIs as necessary
• Design, code and test RESTful APIs & reusable components
• Explore the payments domain, to motivate and build the next generation application with a deep focus on APIs, scalability & performance
• Collaborate with product management and UX teams to drive exceptional user experience

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred
• Extensive experience in API development & frameworks in the Java ecosystem, Microservices, Kafka, Spring, etc.
• Extremely good understanding of MySQL database to build extremely high performing applications
• Experience with continuous integration & continuous delivery
