POSITION TITLE: Report Specialist

REPORTS TO: Manager, Client report Solutions

WORK LOCATION: 3250 Bloor Street, Toronto, ON

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth analysis of client/prospect HR and Payroll reporting requirements, combining various source materials into consolidated data, Coordinate the analysis and implementation of custom Tailored reports for Payroll clients
  • Develop specialized products utilizing utility report programming, and provide technical support to a wide range of internal clients (Implementation/Sales/Service) as well as both Major & National clients
  • Support client visits & conference calls (especially with National Account Reports) to discuss client report needs
  • Consult with ADP associates as required
  • Facilitate & coordinate the analysis and implementation of custom report projects from inception to completion.
  • Consult with both Major & National Product Specialists in developing recovery routines for critical client issues, documenting results and communicate to other regions
  • Assume responsibility for all special projects as assigned by Manager
  • Participate in the development of proactive methods to assist the team in achieving performance standards
  • Communicate issues to the Manager and initiate follow-up with other teams, departments and management as required
  • Proven commitment to a team environment, demonstrating a positive approach and facilitating co-operation and effective feedback to ensure team and client satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to work independently, while exercising sound judgment in escalation.
  • Assists clients with troubleshooting of technical and report issues either via telephone or in person.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Crystal Reports writing experience
  • Minimum college/university or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrating ability to comprehend complex technical requirements and
    translate them into a reporting product
  • Demonstrated prioritization, organization, and time management, project planning and follow up skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to probe, analyze, and document findings.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proven proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues using a variety of tools
  • Strong working knowledge of various operating system environments
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet, electronic mail and word processing applications
    • Accurate

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 2 years experience in programming related to payroll or accounting
  • Minimum 2 — 3 years in Paytech CSR or IS at the Major Account level or higher or equivalent experience.
  • Payroll and accounting background
