ADP Worldwide Sales Operations is hiring a Program Manager. Within the centralized WW Sales Operations organization maintaining a strong partnership with the business unit is critical. The Sales Program Office maintains a relationship between the BU and other internal functional groups such as Marketing, Human Resources, Product Management etc. as they relate to projects and programs that are initiated. The Program Manager serves as the valued business partner for the business unit (BU) as well as a liaison between the business unit(s) and WW Sales Operations. The Program Manager is expected to connect expertise and initiatives from across ADP Sales to the strategic goals of the BU’s and or ADP Sales. Additionally, they will represent the BU’s needs and prioritize initiatives to the WW Sales Operations teams responsible for ensuring successful completion of projects.

The Program Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the activities of complex business projects spanning multiple organizations to ensure that project deliverables are provided on time, within budget and in accordance to specification. Program Managers are responsible for building and maintaining productive working relationships throughout WW Sales with various levels of associates and constituencies. Program Managers are responsible for executing project procedures that support ADP Sales standards while ensuring delivery of the day to day business goals. The Program Manager typically manages a Project or Program from inception through close down. They deliver on the scope of very large and complex Projects and Programs that directly impact the Sales organization.

The Program Manager must manage and provide communication to all functions impacted by the project; including but not limited to milestones, risk, scope and expectations. S/He must identify the appropriate resources and communicate the project needs to the Sales Operations leaders involved.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow Project / Program Management disciplines in the following areas: Integration, Time, Human Resource, Scope, Schedule, Cost , Issue, Risk, Quality, Communication and Contract Management.
  • Establishes, manages and publishes a comprehensive overall project plan as it relates to ADP Sales, including the development schedule, resource requirements and integration efforts of third party vendors
  • Accountable for meeting project schedule and results, client satisfaction and the quality of the deliverables.
  • Share all knowledge of tools, technologies and programs that are making a positive impact in other business units
  • Participate in frequent meetings. One with WW Sales Operations to scope new project requests and one with BRE team to share success stories, connection points and ensure collaboration
  • Assist with submitting scoped projects via Salesforce.com case management system

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • BS degree in Marketing & Business Administration or equivalent education & experience.
  • At least five years of Project Management experience
  • Experienced managing medium to large cross-functional and/ or multi-year projects
  • Experience with Project Management tools and structured methodologies

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple functions/organizations to identify and negotiate required resources
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage across formal organizational lines
  • Strong team leadership and ability to delegate responsibility to all levels of the project team and hold team accountable for deliverables
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Commitment to being accountable for results
  • Ability to interface with and present to all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of building relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to think independently and make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions
