In this role, you will help create the best experience for ADP’s Benefits Administration solution that is part of WorkForce Now’s core HCM (Human Capital Management) offering. We are looking for innovative thinkers and doers who push the limits of technology with a “can do” attitude to get things done. As an Application Developer, you are joining us during a time of transformation and growth that touch a range of solutions that span the web, mobile and IoT / hardware devices as well.

Responsibilities:
- Create responsive, scalable, and robust web applications.Â
- Plan, execute, and deliver top quality software deliverables.Â
- Act as a primary, dedicated technology interface owning the technical responsibility for architecture, analysis, design, development, and implementation of responsive user interface.Â
- Define, implement, and improve user experience.Â
- Responsible for day-to-day task management and sprint planning, participating in design sessions, and performing heads-down development.Â
- Work on technical integrations with other systems, and work with Quality Assurance (QA) to assure top quality deliverables.Â
- Provide software development expertise and work as a lead developer to maintain and develop improved interfaces for new and existing critical applications.Â
- Responsible for overseeing design and development of software applications.Â
- Support production needs/activities.Â
- Should have good communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and seven (7) years of experience.
- Agile methodologies and tools like RallyÂ
- Strong Java and J2EE
- JavaScript frameworks preferably TypeScript and REACT
- Web 2.0 architectureÂ
- Web services implementation using REST
- Strong SQL knowledge preferably with Oracle
- JMS / MQ Configurations and KAFKA
- Hibernate and Spring
- Microservices and configuration
- Caching Frameworks, such as Coherence, GemFire, etc.
- Unit testing frameworks such as, JUnit, TestNG, or Mockito, cucumber
- Web servers, tomcat, Apache HTTP Server
- Continuous Integration Tools like Jenkins/Bamboo, Maven/Gradle, Fisheye/Crucible, etc.
