We are seeking a highly skilled, team-oriented Director of Project Management to lead one of Lifion’s high performance, cross-functional team of experts. The successful candidate will be an energizing leader, possess strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills, be detail-oriented, thorough and results-focused.

Lead and grow all Project Managers within the Lifion Developer Platform organization.
Guide the team on best practices and industry standards
Flexible and willing to step up to take on things beyond a job description if need to
Partner with Technical Product Management and R&D Leaders to meet organizational objectives and achieve maximum project ROI
Lead the development of organizational metrics and reporting frameworks
Develop a communications strategy that ensures all project stakeholders are apprised of progress, updates, and risks across Lifion
Drive a practice of continuous improvement – using data to drive constant improvement in operational efficiency
Able to manage multiple initiatives and ensuring successful delivery of key projects
Work with Product Management, Business Analyst, Architects, and UI designers to plan ahead and ensure program backlogs are prioritized, groomed, and has sufficient detail, so that it is ready to be worked on by Scrum teams to avoid any downtime, ambiguity or rework
Drive to build self-organized development teams and facilitate issue resolution within the teams

7-10+ years in an Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master role
Strong experience managing / mentoring a team of Project Managers
Solid understanding with Software Development project life cycles
Proven track record of being a strong team player with a results oriented attitude
Familiar with concepts of service oriented architecture and infrastructure designs
Familiar with different software development best practices (BDD, TDD, pair programming, etc.)
Experience with Atlassian’s Jira/Confluence
Self-starter able to work well in new and undefined environments
Strong skills in following up and following through with action items and dependencies
