The Director, Program Management will work directly with our product development staff and respective businesses within ADP to lead planning, scheduling, and execution of activities for complex business programs spanning multiple organizations to ensure that project outcomes are delivered on-time, within budget and scope. The role is also responsible for building and maintaining productive and collaborative working relationships among organizations with various levels of stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance, to achieve business goal realization.
THINGS YOU’LL DO:Â
- Support program stakeholders and product development teams as an individual contributor in defining and executing product roadmaps by facilitating effective use of program management and Agile best practices in: Scope Management, Schedule Management, Issue & Risk Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communication Management, and Contract Management
- Manages and communicates a comprehensive overall project plan, including the development schedule, resource requirements, and integration efforts of third party products
- Manages the integration and/or development and delivery of very large and complex deliverables directly to the enterprise and functional divisions (such as Marketing, Service, Sales Operations)
- Facilitate communications across key organizations
EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:Â
- 8+ years program management experience in large, complex programs consisting of 12-20 FTEs/consultants and their managers across multiple functions
- Proven track record of maintaining effective cross-functional and technical relationships in a highly matrixed environment
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines, business units, clients, and product development teams
- Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting priorities across multiple programs across the enterprise
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with executive level management in an agile setting where project risk is substantial and communication requirements are highly complex
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks in order to successfully meet program objectives
- An understanding of voice of the client / customer insight tools and methodologies is desirable
- PMI certification and experience with agile product development teams are required
- Master’s degree is a plus
