ADP is looking for a Senor Business Systems Analyst for the Analysis and Design Team. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will work as part of a Product Development Agile team to create and document design alternatives to satisfy user, business, statutory and system requirements. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will partner with Product Owners to present alternatives to users and impacted areas to facilitate design decisions and gain consensus for any project work assigned. This position will also require the qualified candidate to work on statutory compliance changes.
The qualified candidate requires a high level of proficiency in scope management and requirements elicitation for new feature functionality and enhancements on a large payroll application with a statutory and compliance concentrations. They must possess strong analytical skills and proven technical aptitude. The candidate will be responsible for ownership of one or more projects; and must be able to perform analysis and document high level requirements, impact analyses, user stories and detailed functional specifications. The candidate will also be responsible for the analysis of statutory compliance changes. Other responsibilities may include communication of new feature deliverables to our service and production support organizations, conducting demos and participating in stakeholder reviews, as well as assuming the role of post-release Subject Matter Expert.
Candidates may be required to work under the project oversight of more senior analysts depending upon the size and complexity of the new feature. In that capacity the candidate would be responsible to work with the Lead or Chief Analyst for the creation of the project backlog and assignment of the analysis tasks; act as the first point of contact for analysis related issues and risks, monitor the progress of all project analysis assignments to ensure they are delivered on time and with quality.
In this position the Sr. Business Systems Analyst is required to interface with Major and National Accounts Business Partners in addition to the development and testing teams in the US and India. The candidate must display a high degree of collaboration and accountability; and be able to perform under tight deadlines within an aggressive release schedule. This position requires a candidate who can work in a fast-paced environment.
An understanding of payroll software and familiarity with HCM systems is highly desirable. A CPP Certification is a plus but not required. This position is subject to overtime and vacation blackouts during peak payroll times such as year-end and quarter boundaries.
