Job Description for BA role – ICE
The role is primarily functional and semi-technical in nature, requires strong analytical skills, an aptitude towards learning various ADP HCM products. This position will require working in India Night Shifts, i.e., US Business Hours (8 AM to 5 PM EST)
Essential Skills
- Strong Functional knowledge in HCM modules like US Payroll, Core HR and Benefits Administration modules
- Should have worked on the PeopleSoft HCM applications
- Strong client facing and requirements gathering skills
- Basic SQL knowledge is mandatory and should have an aptitude to learn more in SQL
- Basic programming skills in SQR would be an added advantage
- Good knowledge on people tools and product HCM (HR, Payroll and Benefits) functionality
- Strong Analytical, Problem Solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in working in a client facing role and should have worked with external/internal stake holders as a Business Analyst
- Should be strong team player, required collaboration, should be aware of complete SDLC /BA concepts
- Basic to intermediate project management skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare the functional specifications documents as per the requirements
- Co-ordinate with clients and help the client in testing the requirements
- Understand the requirements clearly and come up with an accurate effort estimate to complete the task
- Coordinate with the developers to make them understand the requirements/functional specifications document
- Should be able to handle multiple tasks in parallel
- Ability to meet aggressive and often demanding timelines
- Prior experience/ exposure in call handling for requirements elicitation and specification writing
- Should be able learn quickly different ADP products and do the fit-gap analysis for the interfaces requirements
- Should be able to understand the source and target systems and prepare the mapping documents to load the data into target systems
- This role requires individuals to work in US day shifts, however the individual needs to be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment when needed
Qualification and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or MCA.
- Experience: 2 to 4 Years of working experience as a Business Analyst in any ERP implementations
- Certifications (FPC, CPP etc.) in Payroll is an added advantage
