POSITION SUMMARY:

ADP is looking for a Technical & Applications Management Specialist to help facilitate our Enterprise Messaging Tier 2 support team. As a member of the Global End User Computing department, the incumbent will act as the technical support lead for messaging & collaboration services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provides Technical Leadership and Oversight for the Enterprise Messaging Tier 2 Team
    • Operates as the Liaison between the Enterprise Messaging Tier 2 Team and Tier 3/Engineering
    • Manages Tier 2 Technology Projects from Inception to Completion
    • Identifies Inefficiencies and Automation Opportunities, and Implements Solutions
    • Provides Review and Approval for all Department Technical Change Orders
    • Facilitates Various Weekly Collaborative Meetings both Internal to the Department, as well as with Other Business Units
    • Assists Technical Support Staff with Tier 2 Escalations
    • Works with other Enterprise Messaging Team Members on Department Projects/Efforts

UALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience and a proven track record of expertise in IT support related tasks
  • Experience as lead support technician
  • Proven experience with industry standard technologies inclusive of the following:
    • Microsoft Office 365 — Exchange, Skype, Teams
    • Working experience with other Office 365 services a plus
    • Large, global enterprise wide office support of Microsoft Exchange, Lync, and supporting messaging related systems
    • Powershell experience a plus
    • Securemail delivery technologies — HP Voltage SecureMail
    • SMTP Email gateway knowledge — Proofpoint
    • Anti SPAM and Malware detection systems
    • DMARC, DKIM and SPF
    • Fundamental understanding of network and Internet concepts (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, Web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, etc.)
    • Strong analytical skills for problem solving
    • Working experience in agile environments a plus
