Product Technology Consultants serve as a senior level system/application subject matter expert and represent the interests of ADP Clients, ADP Field Associates and the EDP Group. Provide support to Business Service Centers. The Service Centers will primarily escalate single external client product cases (Hosted Product and Autopay) to IT Client Support. This position will liaise between all groups in IT to determine and communicate the best solution for our clients. This may consist of executing specific performance or functional tests associated with resolving user experience issues regarding use of applications over and on various platformsThese positions cover a wide range of ADP systems and applications which use a wide range of technology.

In addition, this position provides expert level technical support over all ADP Front End and Back End systems used by Clients and Associates to deliver ADP’s products and services. Technology Consultants are expected to have expert level knowledge on the systems/products they support. They should be able to converse confidently with all cross-functional teams having a hand in the Engineering and Development functions for the supported system/application. Since one of their primary roles is to facilitate continuous improvement for ADP’s Products and Services, it will be necessary for them to be able to work within any phase of the product life cycle – this means they may work with Marketing, Analysis, Development, QA, Deployment, Engineering/OPs, Implementation and Service. Because of the mission-critical nature of ADP’s products and services, it may be necessary for a Technology Consultant to travel for training, Product Pilots or Client service tasks. The position may carry on-call responsibility which may be static/assigned or rotating.

A Technology Consultant should have Leadership qualities. They may be asked to manage group projects of varying size, duration and scope. They may also be asked to represent their Management team in cross-functional meetings and on conference calls.
