About the role:
To execute a systematic process of discovering, analysing, and providing learning solutions that support business unit goals and strategic objectives. Provide insight to and influence the overall business unit learning strategy. This role is the single point of continuity between the Business and Enterprise Learning, providing alignment between BU specific goals and the Enterprise Learning strategy.
 
Role responsibilities:
  • Build and cultivate strong relationships within business units, Enterprise Learning and the broader learning community.
  • In collaboration with the Regional EL Manager, be responsible for developing the business case for their learning portfolios and championing initiatives from design to execution through understanding and communicating results.
  • Construct training plans for the business, leveraging the learning assets from the Learning Centres of Expertise.
  • Drive the change management agenda for the business; offer expert performance consulting and coaching for senior and mid-level leaders.
  • Identify roadblocks to task completion and involve line management for resolution as required.
  • Provide recommendations for actions to improve organisational performance.
  • Advocate on behalf of the business and update business partners regarding services available from Enterprise Learning.
  • Identify and define success measures for training interventions to evaluate the performance and business impact of learning solutions.
  • Gather and analyse data to propose actions that drive continuous improvement and drive new learning opportunities.
  • Work with Enterprise Learning to develop new learning services contributing to increased business and revenue.
  • Responsible for the client training pipeline, in line with product roadmaps for both updates and new products for both associates and clients.
  • Responsible for the satisfactory sign off of both internal and external training activities.
  • Manage the full training cycle from initial bid to completion of training. Oversee “statement of requirements” and “statement of works” documentation
  • Assist to lead and grow a team of Enterprise Learning professionals.
  • Assist with the management of the annual training cost /revenue centre budget.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR to diagnose current organisational performance and culture. Act as a change agent and champion and lead large scale change projects in collaboration with the business and HR.
  • Responsible for the “complete training cycle” including identifying training needs, design, develop, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training solutions nationally to all levels through the organisation.
  • Drive the organisations learning culture and vision of ONE ADP. Liaise with the international learning teams to introduce learning tools, resources and programs to support the ongoing professional development of ADP Associates.
  • Manage the activities to promote courses to clients and non- clients with regular schedule programs to be conducted across Australia and New Zealand.
  • ¡ Source and manage external providers to meet specific technical or professional requirements for internal training, whilst meeting budgetary requirements.
  • ¡ Participate and contribute to BPI initiatives and related activities as required.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate training role, including design, delivery and prior leadership facilitation experience.
  • Client training/consulting.
  • Minimum of 2 years leading and managing a Training/Learning and Development team.
  • Experience in effectively managing a training cost and revenue centre budget.
  • Significant experience in a serviced focused organisation.
  • Sound experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Demonstrated exposure to the Australian Quality Training Framework.
  • Experience in Human Performance Improvement projects that define success in terms of business outcomes.
  • Experience in organisational development, organisational readiness, performance improvement.
  • Experience in influencing stakeholders within complex organisations.
  • Experience in account management would be an advantage to better understand the Clients business challenges.
